Our tenants can now share how busy their workforce is, place by place, with their customers — who can then react automatically, throttling demand or temporarily offlining a merchant when deliveries can no longer keep up and re-opening it as the workforce catches up.
When the busyness signals extension is enabled, we emit a busyness.place_changed webhook for an
affected place whenever its busyness shifts to a new level, from 0 (idle) to 100 (fully saturated).
Busyness signals are a paid extension configured per tenant — reach out to our customer success team to enable them.
